A heritage of images of Venetian and Veneto know-how, an extraordinary tribute to the lagoon city and its mainland businesses, collected in a volume so that it is not lost and lives on beyond the times and modes of the exhibition. Susanna Pozzoli is a well-rounded author, having worked both as a photographer and as the author of the texts: short accounts of her professional and human experiences, lived during the time she spent in the twenty-one workshops and craft enterprises of excellence, special protagonists of this authorial work. The publication opens with a note by Michelangelo Foundation and a preface by Franco Cologni. An introductory text by Toto Bergamo Rossi, director of the Venetian Heritage Foundation, highlights the historical value and living heritage that these businesses embody for Venice and the Veneto. Art historian Barbara Stehle has been invited to present the artistic aspect of the Venetian Way project, exhibited at Homo Faber 2018.
